LEGENDAIRY ROUTE 66

Route 66 is not a road; it is an archaeology project. Officially decertified in 1985, the “Main Street of America” no longer exists on modern federal maps. What remains is a 2,400-mile patchwork of frontage roads, decaying concrete, and business loops that shadow the modern Interstates (I-55, I-44, I-40, I-15).
